Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh

27 October is a significant and sensitive day in the history of the Kashmir dispute. On this occasion, The Rights Foundation pays tribute to the martyrs of occupied Jammu & Kashmir and expresses its heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with all the families who have suffered losses during this long-standing conflict.

The Rights Foundation believes that the solutions to the Kashmir issue must be sought through peaceful dialogue, mutual respect, diplomatic efforts and in accordance with relevant international principles. The aspirations of the Kashmiri people, their human rights and the need for lasting peace in the region should be given due importance.

Human rights are not limited to any nation, religion or region; they are a shared value of humanity. We urge all parties to work for the protection of civilians, reduction of tensions, respect for human dignity and the promotion of meaningful negotiations.

On this solemn day, we pay tribute to the martyrs, stand in solidarity with the affected families, and hope that a just and peaceful resolution to the Kashmir issue will emerge — one that upholds human rights, respects the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and ensures a safe and prosperous future for the region and its people.

Our wish is that future generations may live in a world of peace, education, development, mutual respect and prosperity — instead of conflict and deprivation.

“The people of Kashmir have the right to live with dignity, peace and self-determination.”
